Project: Traverse Remediation

This earthworks centric design and construct project required remediation of existing traverses at the EO Depot, Twofold Bay, against DEOP 103 and subsequent modification to gain compliance so the Explosive Ordnance Storage Licence could be maintained.
In total 6 traverses had to be moved and all 6 plus an extra traverse were then covered with a green HDPE liner to eliminate ongoing maintenance costs. All traverses had a rock anchor trench at the base and the trench was used to facilitate management of the increased stormwater runoff. Several other minor works packages were also completed which included a new roller shutter, new chip seal pavement and stormwater management works.
